MakeOrder privacy
MakeOrder is a Shopify app by Oskivo. Contact support@oskivo.com.
What the app stores
MakeOrder stores the shop domain, its plan cache, and merchant business data: purchase order lines, supplier names, supplier email addresses the merchant enters, unit costs and received quantities. It does not store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses.
Orders
MakeOrder reads order line items and quantities to work out sales velocity for reorder suggestions. On open orders it also reads the shipping street, postcode and country, the billing country, and the customer id, to flag address problems, country mismatches, duplicate orders and unusual quantities. Those values are used to show a note in the app. They are not stored. If ORDER_AI_API_KEY or OPENAI_API_KEY is set, MakeOrder may send the note to that service with the street, postcode and customer id replaced by placeholders, and uses the reply only to reword the note. The note is never emailed by MakeOrder; the merchant copies it or opens it in their own mail app.
Shopify session storage may keep the signed-in staff member's name and email on an online session. MakeOrder does not read those columns. Uninstall and shop redact delete them.
Retention and deletion
app/uninstalled clears the stored plan and sessions immediately. The shop returns to Free on reinstall until a new subscription is approved. shop/redact deletes all data for the shop. customers/data_request and customers/redact are acknowledged; MakeOrder holds no customer records.
